1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using DealLens ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

DealLens is a car purchase document analysis tool that uses artificial intelligence to help users identify fees, terms, and conditions in their vehicle purchase, financing, lease, and related documents. The App provides:

• Document scanning and PDF upload capabilities
• AI-powered analysis of car purchase documents (loans, leases, buyer's orders, invoices, estimates, cash deals)
• Fee identification and categorization
• Market comparison estimates
• Follow-up chat for document questions
• Dealership Prep educational content

3. Not Financial or Legal Advice

The analysis provided by DealLens is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice. The App uses AI technology that may produce inaccurate or incomplete results. You should always consult with a qualified financial advisor, attorney, or other professional before making decisions based on the App's analysis.

DealLens does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis results, market comparisons, or recommendations provided through the App.

4. Subscription and Payments

DealLens offers a free tier with limited features and a premium subscription ("DealLens Pro") that unlocks additional functionality including detailed fee breakdowns, negotiation tips, market comparisons, and the AI chat assistant.

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods

5. Document Processing

When you upload or scan a document, the App processes it as follows:

• Documents are scanned or selected locally on your device
• Document content is sent to a third-party AI service (Google Gemini) for analysis
• Analysis results are stored locally on your device

By using the App, you consent to this processing. You are responsible for reviewing documents before submission and understanding that document content, including any personal information, will be transmitted to third-party servers for analysis.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Only upload documents that you have the right to access and analyze
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App to process documents on behalf of others without their consent
• Not rely solely on the App's analysis for financial or legal decisions

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of DealLens, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of DealLens and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DealLens and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Financial losses resulting from reliance on the App's analysis
• Errors or inaccuracies in document analysis
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your documents
• Any third-party actions or services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
