DealLens ("we", "our", "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our car purchase document analysis application.

2. Information We Collect

Document Data
When you scan or upload a document, the document content is sent to a third-party AI service for analysis. Please be aware that document content, including any personal information contained within, is transmitted to Google's servers for processing.

Analysis Results
Analysis results (vehicle details, fees, rates, terms) are stored locally on your device using CoreData. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it.

Subscription Data
Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Usage Data
We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry. The App does not contain any third-party tracking SDKs.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Document content is sent to Google Gemini API solely for the purpose of analyzing your car purchase document
• Analysis results are stored locally to provide your history feature
• Market comparison data is generated by the AI based on vehicle details from your analysis
• Chat conversations are processed in real-time and are not stored on any server

4. Third-Party Services

Google Gemini API
We use Google's Gemini AI service to analyze document content. Document content is transmitted to Google's servers for processing. Google's privacy policy and data handling practices apply to this data. We recommend reviewing Google's AI privacy policy at ai.google/privacy.

Apple StoreKit
Subscription management is handled by Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies to all payment and subscription data.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

• All analysis results and history are stored locally on your device
• No user accounts or cloud storage are used
• API communication is authenticated and access-controlled
• Document data sent for analysis uses HTTPS encryption in transit
• Original documents are not retained by the App after analysis

6. Data Retention

• Analysis history is stored on your device until you delete it from the app or uninstall the app
• Documents are processed in memory and are not permanently stored
• Chat conversations exist only during your active session
• We do not maintain any server-side database of user data

7. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Delete individual analyses from the History screen
• Delete all app data by uninstalling the App
• No account deletion is needed as we don't create user accounts

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectification, and erasure of personal data.

For California residents, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what data is collected and the right to deletion.

8. Children's Privacy

DealLens is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are under 18, please do not use the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
